Privacy Policy

How Yule collects, uses, shares and protects personal data — for our customers, partners and end users.

Last updated: 16 May 2026

At Yule, we are committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you and your end users interact with our services and the Yule product, including all applications within our programmatic advertising ecosystem. It also describes your rights with respect to your personal data. This Policy is available in multiple languages; in cases of discrepancy, the English version prevails where legally permissible.

Yule, referred to as "we," "our," or "us," is operated by YULE INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Business Registration No. 79498317), with registered office at Unit 1508, 15/F, Argyle Centre Tower 2, 625 Nathan Road, Mongkok, Hong Kong. We provide a global Demand-Side Platform (DSP) and related programmatic advertising solutions to advertisers, agencies, publishers and application developers (collectively, "Customers"). This Policy describes how we handle Personal Information through Yule's advertising services and our website at https://yule.global and any subdomains.

This Policy applies to: (a) end users of our Customers' websites or applications ("End Users"); (b) visitors who interact with our Site or contact us; and (c) Customers and their designated contacts.

1.Our Services

Yule operates as a Demand-Side Platform (DSP), providing digital advertising solutions through optimized technologies. Our real-time bidding (RTB) system enables advertisers to bid for ad placements when a webpage loads, an application is used, or another digital media source is accessed. We do not directly interact with End Users visiting our Customers' websites or apps; instead, the Personal Information processed by Yule facilitates our RTB technology and the measurement of advertising delivery. The information we process is described further below.

2.Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data from you and your End Users as required by law or as necessary to perform our contractual obligations. Failure to provide certain information may limit our ability to deliver the Services.

Data we collect from Customers and Visitors

  • Account Information: Name, company, role, work email, phone number, password (hashed), and any other information you provide when registering, requesting a demo or otherwise communicating with us.
  • Usage and Technical Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, time-stamps, and information about your interaction with our Site collected automatically through server logs and analytics tools.
  • Cookie & Similar Technologies: We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, monitor performance and improve user experience. See Section 3 for details.

Data we process about End Users

  • Device Identifiers: Mobile advertising identifiers (e.g., GAID, IDFA), cookie IDs, device IDs and other identifiers assigned by Publishers, Advertisers or our Partners.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system, screen size, network connection type, system language, time zone and country/region.
  • Network Information: IP address (in some jurisdictions truncated or masked), user-agent string and approximate ISP/carrier information.
  • Location Information: Approximate location derived from IP address, and where permitted, more precise latitude/longitude passed in bid requests subject to End User consent.
  • Bid Request Data: Information passed by publishers and supply partners in real-time bid requests, including page URL, app bundle ID, ad slot, content category and timestamp.
  • Interaction Data: Ad impressions, viewability, clicks, post-click events and post-install conversion signals reported by our Customers or measurement partners.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as racial origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health, genetic or biometric data) and we instruct Customers and Partners not to send such data to our platform.

3.Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We respect your privacy when you visit our website and use cookies primarily to operate the Site and improve your experience. 7.International Data Transfers

Yule is headquartered in Hong Kong and operates internationally. Personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions outside the one in which you reside, including jurisdictions whose data-protection regimes may differ from yours.

Where we transfer personal data internationally, we put in place appropriate safeguards, which may include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or the UK ICO, equivalent clauses required by other regulators, intra-group data-transfer agreements, or reliance on recognised adequacy decisions. You may contact us at the address in Section 17 to request further details about applicable safeguards.

8.Data Security and Retention

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, network segmentation, monitoring, and regular reviews of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to comply with our legal, accounting or reporting obligations. End-User device identifiers and bid-request data are typically retained in identifiable form for no longer than 13 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised, except where a longer retention period is permitted or required by law.
